Today was a very special day for me... for one Danny and I are celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary, and my grandma came to visit with me and the babies :)
Well, this morning my sweet husband gave me the Il Divo in Concert DVD. YAY! I love concerts on DVD! I can't wait to cuddle up and watch it with him tonight. Last week, I cooked him a special meal for our anniversary since he is on call.
We had mussels in a white wine sauce, no knead bread, steamed broccoli with garlic, sparkling grape juice to drink, and elairs for dessert . We had dinner by candlelight -- which Bentley thought was "beautiful!" and we were serenaded by our wedding playlist! It was so much fun to surprise Danny with this very romantic dinner!

Grandma's visit. It was a short visit... only four hours. That's right my grandma flew up for FL -- which she is visiting right now too-- to see me for lunch! I had to make it a very special lunch, so we had Stuffed Portobello with Gorganzola Cheese, focaccia (it turned out great being that it was the first time I've ever made this bread!), and Cornmeal Cake with cranberries. It was very gourmet and we both loved it! I'm so glad that she came to visit me, though all of us were sad that she didn't get to visit with Danny. Bentley loved showing off to her and the fact that she read a lot of books to him. Marseille loved her too, she actually fell asleep on her! I love her so much and it was good to see her, even if it was only for lunch!
